Each piece of jewelry from Mode Jord Design is handmade and requires careful handling to preserve the quality of the jewelry for as long as possible. Follow these tips to extend the life of your sparkling jewelry:

- Gently wipe your jewelery with a soft polishing cloth and always store it in a jewelery box or box so that it retains its shine.

- Avoid contact with liquid agents such as soap, perfume, lotion, make-up, hair and cleaning products.

- Always take off your jewelery when washing your hands, swimming, exercising or showering and before applying oil.

- Do not place the jewelry next to anything that could scratch or damage it.

When you want to clean your jewelry, we do not recommend any special polish or cleaning for jewelry, but a soft cloth / polishing cloth is enough. It is perfectly possible to clean the crystal with washing-up liquid, but if there are stones or pearls in the jewelry, you have to be extra careful. Sometimes you have to use a toothbrush or other soft brush to get everywhere. Then it is important to wipe the jewelery so that it is completely dry.

At Moder Jord Design, we have rings with fixed sizes and rings that can be adjusted in size and fit several different finger sizes.

The most common ring sizes for women are 16.5mm (6) 17.5mm (7) 18mm (8) and 19mm (9). When buying a wider ring, you usually need a slightly larger size.
Swedish to European measurements for women, 6 = size 52, 7= size 54, 8= size 57, 9= size 60.

Necklace

  • We have a large selection of necklaces in several different lengths.
  • Short necklaces with us have a length of 40-46 cm, medium necklaces have a length of 48-58 cm and long necklaces are 58-80 cm long.
  • Some of our necklaces are adjustable in length, and this is stated in the product description
  • Our loose chains fit all charms, but necklaces sold ready-made are not always removable from the chains.
  • If you are not sure which necklace length you want, you can easily measure with a measuring tape around your neck and compare with our product descriptions.

Bracelet

  • A bracelet should not fit too tightly around the wrist but also not fall off when you angle your hand downwards.
  • In our product descriptions, it is stated whether the bracelet can be adjusted between different lengths, whether it is malleable, or only available in one size.
  • If you are unsure of your size, you can measure your wrist yourself by taking a string or tape measure and see the centimeters and compare with our product descriptions.
